  1. 1. Every creative person has a vision. How did you capture Anthony’s vision for the 15 and 30 second spots?
  2. 2. Anthony is a very energetic and creative person. How was it to work with him?
  3. 3. The “Black Site” track has a cinematic sound? Did you envision that this story could morph into a movie?
  4. 4. We heard that there is a second season for Knight. Would you use your original music as inspiration or do you prefer to work with a clean slate?
  5. 5. When you work on a project are you ever asked for the music as an inspiration for the words?

Music Producer Navid Lancaster

 

Navíd (pronounced: Nah-veed) Lancaster is a musician, music producer and owner of LANCAST, an independent company that composes the emotions for award-winning films, video games, mobile apps and animation.

  • Composed the soundtrack for film ‘Buck – The Man Spirit’. (Winner of the People’s Choice Award for Best Short at the Trinidad & Tobago Film Festival 2012).
     
  • Composed the soundtrack for the film 'Jab In The Dark'. (Winner of the People’s Choice Award for Best Short at the Trinidad & Tobago Film Festival 2013).
     
  • Technical Assistant for the award-winning, PBS broadcasted docudrama ‘Pan! Our Music Odyssey’ (2014).
     
  • Sound Designer/Music Editor for the full length documentary ‘Re-Percussions. Pan: Our African Odyssey’ (Winner of Best Documentary at the Trinidad & Tobago Film Festival 2015).
     

Navíd is a Member of the Copyright Music Organization of Trinidad and Tobago (C.O.T.T), a holder of the Certificate of Recognition of Caribbean Community Skills Qualification (C.S.M.E.) and a registered Cultural Worker with The National Registry of Artists and Cultural Workers. He holds a BA (Hons) First Class Honors in Media and Communications from the University of Greenwich, England and an MA in New Media and Society from the University of Leicester, England.
